“Exploring Faith, Growing Together”

The Book Reading Club at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Media, PA, is a welcoming group dedicated to deepening our understanding of the Orthodox Christian faith through engaging and thought-provoking discussions. Our goal is to explore books that inspire spiritual growth, encourage meaningful dialogue, and strengthen our connection to God and one another.

What We Read

Our book selections include:

  • Orthodox Christian theology and spirituality

  • The lives of saints and church history

  • Christian living and personal growth

  • Biblical studies and reflections

How It Works

  • Meetings are held biweekly on Tuesdays or Mondays during the Great Lent after the Great Compline at the meeting room.

  • Open discussions led by a facilitator or guest speaker

  • Opportunities to share insights, ask questions, and apply lessons to daily life

  • A friendly and enriching environment for parishioners of all ages and backgrounds
